Preparation
Step 1
Segment the oranges and set them aside. Squeeze the juice from the membrane into a small saucepan.
Step 2
Add ½ cup of water, the maple syrup, clove and cinnamon to the pan. Bring to the boil, then simmer until reduced by half. Set aside to cool; then stir in the orange segments.
Step 3
To make the porridge, add the oats, seeds, milk and a pinch of salt to a saucepan set over medium heat, simmer for 10–15 minutes, stirring often, until softened.
