- 1.75 pints hot water
- 1 lemon
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 red chilli
- 1 x 2″ piece ginger
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup

Preparation
Step 1
Put the water, lemon peel and slices, cinnamon sticks, chilli and ginger into a saucepan and bring to the boil. Cover and leave to infuse for 3–4 minutes until the tea reaches your preferred level of spice. Add the maple syrup to taste and serve.
