  • 6.3 oz granola
  • 5 tablespoons of desiccated coconut
  • 250g peanut butter
  • 11 tablespoons of brown rice syrup

Preparation

Step 1

Start by making the base; mix the granola, coconut and peanut butter in a large mixing bowl.

Step 2

Place the rice syrup in a pan and bring to the boil, when boiling pour over the granola mix and stir well.

Step 3

Push the mixture down into a lined baking tray and set aside in the fridge to cool for 1-2 hours.

Step 4

Next make the chocolate topping; simply place all of the ingredients in a blender and blitz well until smooth.

Step 5

Spoon over the flapjack bottom and spread out well.

Step 6

Put the flapjacks back into the fridge to set for another 1-2 hours. Cut into 30 bite-sized squares.
