- 200g pitted Medjool dates
- 14 fl oz almond milk
- 6½ tablespoons tahini
- 4 tablespoons of cacao powder
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil

Preparation
Step 1
Place the dates into a pan over a medium heat and cover with the almond milk. Cook for 15-20 minutes until the dates completely break down and feel really soft. Stirring occasionally.
Step 2
Once soft, stir through the cacao powder, tahini and coconut oil. Mix well until everything comes together.
Step 3
At this point, remove from the heat and leave to cool.
Step 4
Once cool, pour all of the ingredients into a powerful food processor and blend until a smooth, thick spread comes together.
