- 1.8 oz almonds
- 1.7 oz cashews
- 200g pitted Medjool dates
- 2 teaspoons cacao powder
- 1 tablespoon of almond butter
- 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
- pinch of sea salt

Preparation
Step 1
Place the almonds and cashews into a food processor and whizz until they form a chunky flour.
Step 2
Then add the dates and all the remaining ingredients.
Step 3
Blend everything up until a sticky mix forms.
Step 4
Roll the mixture into balls and place them in the fridge for 20 minutes to firm up.
Step 5
During this time you can make the chocolate sauce by simply melting the cacao butter, cacao powder and date syrup together in a pan over a low heat.
Step 6
When the chocolate is ready, line a tray with grease proof paper.
Step 7
Dip the energy balls one at a time into the chocolate and place on the greasepoof paper.
Step 8
When you have dipped all the balls, sprinkle them with salt and place in the fridge to set.
