- 4 tablespoons of date syrup
- 5.3 oz cacao butter
- 9 tablespoons of cacao powder
- 2 tablespoons of melted coconut oil

Preparation
Step 1
Place the date syrup, cacao butter, cacao powder and coconut oil in a pan over a low heat and cook until melted.
Step 2
Once melted, pour the mixture into the egg moulds and leave to set in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
Step 3
After 2 hours, remove the moulds from the fridge. Using a teaspoon, scrape a little of the filling out of each egg to make a crater to spoon the almond butter into - you can keep this excess chocolate and melt it back down to make more eggs.
Step 4
Spoon 1/2 a tablespoon of almond butter into each egg half, you can add more or less depending on the size of your eggs.
Step 5
Using a long kitchen lighter - heat the chocolate edges of one half of the eggs, before sandwiching with another egg half. Please ensure an adult does this step.
Step 6
Place back in the fridge until ready to eat.
