- 1 cup raw pecans
- 3 cups water
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- Pinch of salt

Preparation
Step 1
Soak the pecans in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Step 2
Drain and rinse the soaked pecans.
Step 3
Combine the pecans and 3 cups of water in a blender.
Step 4
Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
Step 5
Taste and add maple syrup, vanilla, and salt if desired. Blend again to combine.
Step 6
No straining is needed. Store the pecan milk in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.

Pecan milk is a great alternative to almond milk and doesn't require straining.
Feel free to adjust the sweetness level by adding more or less maple syrup.
For a more pronounced flavor, you can toast the pecans before soaking them.
