  • 1 single-crust pie dough (I used this recipe)
  • 1 ¾ cups pecan halves
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon bourbon
  • ½ teaspoon fine sea salt
  • Optional, for serving: vanilla ice cream or whipped cream

This filling is gluten free, so you’ll just need to make a gluten-free pie dough. I haven’t tried, so I don’t have a recipe to recommend, sorry!
