- 2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour
- ½ cup (100 g) granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (244 ml) milk
- ¼ cup (56.75 g) unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup (84.75 ml) honey
- 1 egg

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners or spray with a non-stick cooking spray.
Step 2
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk, butter, honey, and egg.
Step 4
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and, using a rubber spatula, fold together until no dry ingredients remain.
Step 5
Divide the batter evenly between the muffin cups. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Step 6
Cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then remove to a wire rack. Serve warm or at room temperature. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
